Cooperstown Veterinary Associates started out as the venture of college sweethearts Michael S. Powers DVM and Lucy E. Jones DVM in 1988. Originally located on Murphy Hill Road east of Cooperstown, CVA occupied the veterinary clinic of Dr. Jastremski. Since that time CVA has built a new hospital on State Highway 28, adjacent to Oaks Creek Beekeeping, and only minutes west of Cooperstown.
Our staff consists of a group of highly-trained, experienced professionals who are dedicated to the care of our patients and consider them as much a part of our family as of yours.
We at CVA are always conscious of the latest developments in veterinary medicine and are always on the cutting edge of veterinary technology in order to ensure that your pets receive the very best patient care possible.
As such, we prefer to think of our practice not as a hospital and business so much as a part of a family that extends to anyone, two legs or four, who wishes to join it.
